In March 2016 I was on a trip to Hong Kong for my niece’s wedding. That was also the same time when the annual ART BASEL happened. Art surfaced everywhere. All photographs in this series were taken in Hong Kong, except one, which was taken on my way back home from the airport through the taxi window. While I was on the trip, my best friend Fai passed away in Toronto. It was so sudden, and sad. I want to dedicate this series of photographs to him, in memory of our good old Hong Kong days in the seventies and eighties. His family moved to Toronto in the late eighties. After nine years, we joined them and celebrated the Millennium.
